Our drill presses are fantastic for making precise holes in many materials.
In Bld. 38 we have an ancient WEBO B12, while the MakerSpace in Birch houses a Nova Voyager. Both machines are fitted with clamps for holding material securely and a range of bit sizes and types, with the voyager boasting the additional feature of a digital speed controller allowing you to input hole size and bit type information for precise drilling speeds.
Inductions between the two machines are compatible, but often require a 5 minute refresher to cover the differences between the machines.
