This page will walk you through setting up your Prusa Slicer for resin printing.
If you haven’t already downloaded Prusa slicer, you can do so here. Installing will start you with the Configuration Assistant open.
To add the resin printer itself, select Configuration > Configuration Assistant
Click Prusa MSLA and check the box for Original Prusa SL1S SPEED
Click Finish
You should now be able to select the SL1S in the printer dropdown.
We also need to adjust the printing profiles to match the resin. See the list below for our current settings
Brand | Exposure Time | Initial Exposure Time | Print Speed |
---|---|---|---|
Phrozen 4k Grey | 2.5s | 30s | Slow |
Prusa Tough Orange | 2.5s | 30s | Slow |
Blu-Cast X-one | 2.5s | 30s | Slow |
To do so, click the Material Settings tab. Ensure you’ve set your mode to Expert in the top right.
Select the Material page on the left hand window and set Exposure time and Initial exposure as above.
Select the Material Printing Profile page and set print speed as well.
You can now save this setting by clicking the floppy disk save icon and naming it.
Going back to the plater page should allow you to select the resin.
